Founded  in 2019 by Caroline Hallam, this year marks Sonoriy’s 6th anniversary. The choir brings together some of the finest upper-voices in Sheffield. We are dedicated to exploring the wealth of music written for upper-voices. Sonority embraces a range of genres to create programmes that can span nine centuries and will excite audiences and reflect the passions of the singers. We aim to give upper-voice music, female composers and female conductors a platform.
